Hi!

To our grief we r finding that standby database  in 8i (RFS!) is not as romantic as suggested by  the manual.

We have found that after sometime
the RFS gives 'some' error (can somebody help please!)  and we find v$archive_dest.error has
value ORA-3113 while tnsping etc works..

and after that the RFS doesn't work at all!  it was stuck at sequence no 97 and now
it is stuck at sequence no 103,
logs 98-102 r not that on standby host...

 can some one please help!

 Thanks
