Joe,
This won't help with your boss's error, but it's free and comes with both NT and Linux versions. If the boss will allow it, it's a reasonable remote control app to manage an NT box from your workstation.

and when he's not connected to the network(while at work or at home), he tries to connect and gets a 3113 error, i'm sure its a networking thing but since i'm remote(and its NT) i can't exactly logon and check things out.

i'm sure one you all have dealt with this, any help would be greatly appreciated.
