You need also the oracle listener service. This should also set to = automatic
start.

Hi Ura,

There are two NT services associated with a database: OracleService<SID> and OracleStart<SID>
These two should be iin automatic start mode if you wnat your DB to come up when you reboot. Service are similar to processes on Unix.
