Hi !

One of our client wanted a Row Level Security and we are about to implement using DBMS_RLS.

Just wanted to know any of our friends tested the performance overhead of the RLS object access.

Basically it adds an additional predicate with all your SQLs pointing to that RLS object and i think this may lead to over parsing in the Shared pool (I have not seen/tested).

Can anybody confirm/reject this?

Best Regards,
