Ravindra,

I haven't managed to keep the intelligent agents running, they always seems to die with a memory error after a time. BUT, back in the V6 days I did write some Pro*C to do the same job as a central monitor. If you want, I can send you a copy privately.

Hi,

I am looking at a solution of monitoring the database and sending an alert when
there is any problem .The person should be alerted on the Cell phone/Mail.

I think we can use the OEM with the intelligent agent running on the node to achieve this.

I tried to configure the same. The intelligent Agent was running on the server,i had
configured OEM to send an email when the database goes down or when a SQL Script is
executed but it is not working for me.

Can anyone provide some information as to how to get this working.i.e to send an alert
to Cell Phone/Mail.

Thanks in Advance,

Ravindra
