Hi,

I can't say that the book is for expert level. But you have a lot of sample and detailed xplanation for each.

Also the book cover the grep, sed, awk and C,Bourne and Korn shell.

It is a good start, but if you are looking for some expert level book may be is better to look for other book.

Hi,

I am planning to purchase Unix Shells by Example by Ellie Quigley.

Can anyone be kind enough to tell me whether this book is suitable for a beginner like me.

Actually, I want a book which covers from beginner to expert/advanced level. No matter whether that books is a Solaris book.

Rgds,
Sanjay
