Hi, even though Oracle says, it is possible, to run different = versions
under Open VMS 7.2-1 I was wondering if it is true. I need to find out, if it is possible to run 8.1.6 EE and 7.3.4 version = on
the same machine.
We were experimenting with 2 Oracle homes both for a 8.1.6 EE and have problems as oracle uses a lot of system logicals. Also certain process = names
must be unique.
Didi anyone really try to keep 7.3.4 and 8.1.6 both parallel on th = esame
machine?
Any problems, risks?
Regards,
Antje Sackwitz
