Hi John,
There is enough swap space and there are no errors in errpt..

I found a note in metalink (still waiting for their answer), 117922.1 = wich
points out that there is a problem with AIX async IO, and they suggest = some
changes to be done to the kernel..
I already made the changes and I am trying the import again..

I'll let you know how it goes...

Just a thought.=20
(a) Check that there is adequate swap space (by default some AIX = servers
create only 64M of swap and you run out of it pretty fast since disk = i/o
also involves swap)
(b) Check for any errors in the syslog - (via 'errpt -a') at that time.
