Hi friends,

We have a production instance running with 'remote_login_passwordfile' set to exclusive.
We decided to created new test(dev) instance similar to the prod one. We opted for exp/imp for some reasons.
And we faced the error(I don't remember the error number) saying it is looking of rpassword file at
'$ORACLE_HOME/dbs' and got a 'INVALID' one at that place.
And just to continue with the creation of our test instance,I set the
'remote_login_passwordfile'

to none and created the instance.
I have the following doubts in this regard:

1)Can we have database(or instance) specific password file or there can be only one passwdfile per ORACLE binary.
(FYI, we don't have any such parameter in the syntax)

2)Some time back,I observed that a password file is automatically created when we created
a database with the help of DBASST created scripts with the option
'exclusive' for the parameter.

How to know about the details(no of entries, password) of this already created file.

Any help is highly appreciated.
Thanks & regards,
