RE: BACKUP TESTING PLAN

I often wonder, as I have a duhveloper come wandering over to me with a problem and I knock off some easy code to solve it, then they say "you shouldn't know how to do that, you're the DBA.", what exactly do they think we do?

Yea Dave, I have to write code to prove to the duhvelopers that I indeed can
do it.  That's what I was told.  I also clean the bathrooms here on
occasion.
