What is happening?

Has anyone experienced this?  



We got a rollback status of full because the archive logs filled up the disk
drive.  We did not get a rollback segment full error message (ORA-1652 I
believe).  We removed the archive log files to free up space.  



Our orginal transaction appears to be hung.  Is there something I can do to
commit it or get it going again?  Has anyone else experienced this?
