Subject: ODBC 2.5 on NT vs 98

Hi DBAs,

I have installed Oracle 8.0.5 client on both NT and 98. Everything installed
identically.
However, I cannot get ODBC to work on 98. It works fine on NT. I am believing it may be
a 98 issue. I applied the latest patch and still does not work. I get = the
following error.
I have tried both Microsoft and Oracle drivers.

Does anyone have any ideas on how to correct? SQLSTATE: S1C00
Native Error Code:84
Driver Message[Microsoft][ODBC Text Driver]Driver not capable

Thanks
Rick
