Sorry, Mladen. I was just too lazy to go back and look at the original response to see who sent it.

As to the "did respond", I don't agree, although this may be more a case of the imprecision of the english language. She said, at the end of her email:

The question wasn't "How can I nuke the process without causing an unhandled exception". It was "This method is unacceptable because it causes unhandled exceptions. Is there another method available?"

If there's one thing I know for sure in this industry, it's that there's a whole bunch of stuff that I *don't* know. In fact, I don't even know enough to realize how little I know, if you can follow that without getting a headache. It is entirely possible that there is a workaround or fix or procedure for any particular problem, that I don't even know exists. Presumably other people are in the same boat. A great answer would be "If you use SIGHUP instead of SIGKILL, it won't give you that exception" (uh, this is *not* true. It's just an example). The real answer, which Victoria apparently believes you could have worded better, is "There's no other way.".

Don't worry about people stealing your ideas. If your ideas
are any good,
you'll have to ram them down people's throats.
