"Single point of failure" only makes sense to talk about in a SYSTEM, i.e., not just one sub-system like a disk farm. "Single point of failure" means that every transaction succeeds up to and including the first SYSTEM failure point. Received on Fri Oct 13 2000 - 10:21:34 CDT
