Dear List,

There are two directories (11.0.32 and 11.0.64) under the following link

ftp://oracle-ftp.oracle.com/server/patchsets/unix/HP9800/81patchsets/

Iam presuming, 11.0.32 is for 32 bit HP-UX plus 32 bit Oracle8.1.6 and 11.0.64 is for 64 bit HP-UX plus 64 bit Oracle 8.1.6.

Please let me know whether my assumtion is correct.

Is this patch available/necessary for
non-solaris platforms?

Contrary to popular opinion, Unix is user friendly.
It's just particular about who it makes friends with.
