With all due respect, it isn't racism it's more like religious bigotry *if anything*. Barring him from the list won't help him. Explaining his error(s) may help more. Let's see if helping him technically is one way of defusing this.
Null is not a value. It is a condition. It can be tested by 'is null' or is not null'. HTH!
