Universal Installer and Windows ME

Has anyone attempted to use the Universal Installer on a windows ME machine. I am having trouble using it on my new laptop. I get an error about the stage or destination not being correct, in which they are correct. I tested the CD out by using it on my windows 98 computer and all was fine.

I am also opening a TAR on this, but most of the time the list is quicker.
