Hello List-

My client in Houston, TX is seeking a seasoned and experienced Sr. Oracle Database Administrator (DBA) with 3+ years of Oracle DBA experience on Unix
(preferably HP-UX).

Salary Range: $85,000 - $95,000

This position could be Contract-to-Perm or a Permanent Position from the beginning. The successful candidate will have strong knowledge of Oracle 7.x and 8.x internals and DBA tasks as well as experience with distributed multi-tier database architecture.

Other desired skills include: experience with Oralce Financials, Oracle HR/Payroll, Indus EMPAC Purchasing System, HP-UX Administration skills, PL/SQL Query Analysis and tuning. Working with application developers, knowledge of OEM, DBTuner, or other third-party tuning tools, and experience with Oracle 8i and/or Oracle 11i implementations or administration of Oracle 11i.

The company is a national leader in the "Energy" industry with annual revenues exceeding $2 billion! They offer very competitive salary range, flexible hours, business casual, generous 401K with matching, and excellent health benefits. Perhaps the most exciting part of the opportunity, though, is the growth potential of the position in Oracle Financials, Oracle HR/Payroll, and Indus EMPAC Purchasing System!

Qualified candidates that are interested in a Permanent Position in Houston, TX as a Sr. Oracle DBA should email their resume to me (see below), and I will contact qualified candidates very soon. The company is open to relocating a qualified candidate, but can not sponsor candidates that are not authorized to work in the U.S. Thanks.
