Nancy:

  1. Use psrinfo -v {print out some details about the processor}
  2. Use /usr/platform/`uname -i`/sbin/prtdiag -v {display system diagnostic info}
  3. isainfo -v {tell you what kind of kernel you can boot}

Regards

How do I determine how much memory, versionor Solaris, etc. for a Sun Server? I cannot remember how to do this and I need to know before I start making some tuning recommendations.

Thanks,
Nancy
