The analyze probably change the execution plan for the sql!!
If your sql is written under rule based and your optimizer_mode is choose. Analzing tables can be a disastous to your system.
Use:
analyze table <...> delete statistics;
to delete the statistics.

I have a big problem and need urgent help, i have run analyze table compute
statistics on few tables yesterday and today one of my process which
normaly
finished in 1 hour still running after 10 hours, any body have any idea???
it is very urgent..what's the solution????
