Increasing load on Oracle

Our Sun 3500 box houses the 8.1.6 database which is in test mode. We are going to install another application (non Oracle which comprises a core document repository etc). This application needs 50% resources of our machine (that's the specification). The application is also in the test phase. How can I increase the workload on Oracle so that I can test the overall performance? (imports, exports, queries?????). Also how will I measure the performance?
Thank you very much for your help. Received on Tue Sep 26 2000 - 09:02:24 CDT
