Hi folks,

I exported the database which is on NT. After importing the database I am not able to connect as internal.

I came a cross that there is bug which modify the password file on NT on import if parameter "remote_login_passwordfile=exclusive or share".

After that I deleted the services for sid and deleted the passwdfile and recreated as:

  1. deleted the sid (discover) with command oradim -delete -sid discover.
  2. deleted the PWDdiscover.ora file from d:\oracle\ora81\database
  3. started the service with new password as

oradim -new -sid discover -startmode auto -pfile d:\oracle\ora81\database\initdiscover.ora

services are running but still I receive ORA-01017 invalid username/passwd ; logon denied.

I also deleted the passwd file and created with ORAPWD utility as :

orapwd file=d:\oracle\ora81\database\PWDdiscover.ora password=manager entries=2

It also did't works.

Can anyone help ?

Thanks.
Arjun
