Hi,
 Are you doing this on the same server? If yes, Oracle recommends a 'fresh' install of HP-UX 11.0. . A regular OS upgrade from 10.20 to 11.0 apparently leaves out some system lib files that new Oracle for HP-UX 11.0 does not understand. Please check Metalink. Also, we re-compiled all of Pro*C and Pro*COBOL code. Shell scripts should work fine. HTH..
