experts-

In installing 8.1.5 I did not install C++ stuff. Now I need it. When I run the installer to add it under custom for the Enterprise edition, it won't let me just select it. The message is that de-selecting the other componnets will cause a de-install of those (like the server, sqlplus) is this true ?

I can't afford to lose what I have so I am thinking that I will try the install on another machine and maybe port the C libraries over to the second machine ??

Does anyone have any ideas?
Thanks
