Oracle Replication Issue

Hi

   With Oracle ( 8.1.6) Advanced Replicator mulit-master environment , for the master definition and master site , should the schema names be the same?

None of the document says it should be same, but if we keep it different it does not work?

Can the replication EXPERTS throw some light on this.
