Can you simply log onto the box as the Oracle account (any account in the = dba group), go into svrmgrl and 'connect internal'? Or perhaps more = politically correct, 'connect / as sysdba'?

We have an installation of Oracle 8 on Unix that we use only for demonstrations. We have forgotten the sys password.

Anything we can do?
