SQL>alter system set user_dump_dest = 'e:\oradba\admin\tst';

ERROR at line 1:
ORA-02095: specified initialization parameter cannot be modified

This is Oracle 8.0.5 on NT4-SP4. According to Oracle8 Reference
Release 8.0
A58242-01
ALTER SYSTEM SET can be used to change this initilization parameter. Pulling my hair (what's left of it that is) out on this one. Bethca' it's something simple. What am I doing wrong??? Aaaarrggggghhhhh.
