seems like we need a combination of mirroring and clustering.. clustering would provide node/instance failure, and mirroring would take care of the HD failure.
Now the question is... How to setup this env ? does OPS requires clusters ? if yes then we run OPS on a two node cluster, cluster share the same set of HD's which are mirrored (?) .

Now if the HD fails, the cluster will re-direct the IO to the mirror disks automatically ?
