Rick-
We use MS Access(Object Access) for client access. Before deciding on Access we looked at Brio and HummingBird and decided they were too 'deep' for our end-users. They needed something that they could learn quickly with little down time spent on instruction and/or training. We could also install the ODBC client side in about 10 minutes.
