no, it is an upgrade, not a patch level.

And yes, you will have to install the whole 806, but you can install it in a different ORACLE_HOME

Can i just run the patch which is available in Metalinks to upgrade from Oracle 8.0.5.0.0 to 8.0.6.1.0 ? Or do i need to reinstall whole OEM 8.0.6?
