Open cursors and 8i

Hi All,

Doesn anyone know if open cursors are handled better in 8i compare to 7.3.3.

One of our developer is running out of open_cursors in 7.3.3 but he doesn't have any problem with 8i database. Both database are set to same open cursors limit.

Any ideas??
