If you are already using Oracle on Novell then you know about the support =
issues already. We are on Oracle 7.3.4 and Novell 4.11 sp8. The best =
support answer we get is "Upgrade to the newest version. The version you =
are on is not supported anymore." When I call Oracle for support it is =
because I have a problem that I can't correct easily and I keep getting =
pushed to Metalink for the answers. As far as Novell support, the network =
group usually uses the Novell web site to search for answers. I have yet =
heard of them talking to a support tech. We still have problems that we =
are living with until we upgrade to the latest and greatest.

We're planning to create some 8i instances, but I've been told that =
support
is... difficult. Needless to say, I'm a touch concerned about this
(hopefully I'm just being paranoid).
