One of my coworkers, Michael Rothouse, did a migration study from SQL Server to Oracle. He pitched his paper at the 99 Openworld. You can get to his papers via IOUG, or http://www.ioug.org/repository/index.html, and look for his name.

If you don't have access to IOUG then holler back at me and I will forward your request to him.

Oracle has Migration Kit (SQL Server -> Oracle), which does ~80% of the work automatically (at least that's what they say). I think it depends on complexity of your stored procedures and usage of SQL Server custom features..
