Fellow listers,

has anyone successfully installed the 16-bit version of SQL*NET on Windows 2000
which will allow a 16-bit application to make V7 OCI calls to connect to a database
on another server (e.g UNIX or NT).

Normally to get the application to work on NT V4.0 the Windows 3.1 version of the Oracle client is installed, and the ora71win dll is renamed to ora7win.

Thanks in advance
