You log into your client and then execute the = sqlplus command which will ask you for a username/password and connect = string to get to the server or servers. Novell is a networking product not = a true OS product. Novell and the connect strings are controlled by what = in available in your tnsnames.ora file on the client and what you have = configured on the server using easycfg. Things may have changed when they = released ver 5.1 and you get the DNS working but on ver 4.11 I can't get = in to work as it does in unix.
