Re: Installing Oracle 8.1.6 on Hardened OS

Wouldn't she still require the xlibraries on the host machine she is performing the install on? If so the sys admin would still be reluctant to give her X. I would suggest she install on a test system, tar up the install, and untar on the host within the firewall.
