Changing the user identified by values 'enter some random string here' is a good helpful resource.

This is tangential to the discussion of changing the users password. What I learned about the other day is that you can also alter user identified by external.
(Very interesting)

On a UNIX operating systems it means that if the oracle username and the OS username match
and the user logs onto the UNIX operating system then the user can log into the locally defined database in the
