hi

u are right... the bug is when i have a different nls_sort from the = server
and the client and do a union ... order by ... desc then i am supposed = to
hit this bug.

during my checks, i was able to avoind getting the 600 by doing some = random
selects after i fire this union...desc query... otherwise if i exit immediately after the qry, i get the error...

If my memory is good, it's a bug on 8.1.5, it occurs when a session with a different nls language than the server do an order by ...desc.
