Subject: help on UTL_FILE..
Hi Gurus,
I'm running Oracle 8.0.5 on NT-4 (SP3) on Server 1.
Server 1 has a mapping E:\ pointing to Server 2\share directory.
I'm trying to read a file on E:\ by using UTL_FILE package. But is is raising an
INVALID_OPERATION
exception.
I have checked the file access and that is fine. Also the paths specified in
UTL_FILE.FOPEN call are correct.
Help requested..
TIA,
Makarand Natu
