Hello

I have a customer who is insisting that it is okay for Oracle 8.1.6 Enterprise Edition on Solaris 7 to run on a Veritas Cluster in a failover configuration. I have some information from a source that indicates that you cannot do this with 8.1.6, but it will work with 8.1.5. Has anyone heard anything on this? I currently have a Veritas cluster configured with the following versions:

OS: Solaris 7
Cluster: Veritas VxFs 3.3.2

          Veritas vcs 1.1.1
          Veritas vmsa 3.0.3

Any ideas??

Thanks in advance!!

Tom Tyson
