Ashish,

No one else is biting on this query, but AFAIK there is not a problem doing what you are proposing. FWIW, and you probably already know this, you can issue a SELECT * FROM V$LOGFILE; to check the result.

Subject: Adding redo log member

Hi All,

I have a heavy transaction database. I want to add redo log member online while users are using the database.

Is there any problem with doing that?

I just want to double check before I issue alter database ....

Thanks.
