Can the ibm cpu id number prevent Oracle normal operation?

We have an Oracle Server and Transparent Gateway installed at IBM OS/390. Next month, we are going to change our mainframe hardware platform and we need to know if the IBM CPU ID number is part of the Oracle license number.     In another words, can the IBM CPU ID number prevent the Oracle normal operation?

Thanks in advance
