Client versions

Hi Folks,

I've bombarded myself with too much Oracle info and the auld grey matter is even more of a mush than normal. What I can't find some clear synapse linkage and co-operation for is are...
Background: We're NT site. We have various versions of Oracle on differnet servers for different apps. The need is arising for some client PC's to be able to talk to different apps with different versions of Oracle server side. So....
1 - Can a V7 Oracle Client take to a server with Net8 and vice versa? 2 - Are there issues with having various Oracle client versions on single client PC (registry probs, whatever)
