how to test the response time ?

Is ther any software which will simulate 100 concurrent 
connections and test my new installation of oracle 8i ?
i have already created the application schema and the db is
ready, but i want to test the response time of queries on tables...
is there any other way other than testing the new instance with
100 dummy users issuing queries ?
