Oracle does not make you a good DBA, but sure does give a broad scope of what 
the product can do, beyond what you do on a daily basis and this helps in 
guiding you towards effective decisions and TEAM participation.



I would disagree with Joseph Vesta response about not worrying about OCP but 
trying to get experience. Both have their pros.
