Danut,
You are correct, truncating the master table requires
doing a complete referesh. There was a documentation
error, can't remember which release, that said that
the snapshot site would detect that the master table
had been truncated and automatically do a complete
refresh, but that is not correct. You must manually
do a complete refresh on the snapshot or drop and
recreate the snapshot.
