SAP also has their own database that they are deploying. It isn't = available
yet on all platforms. In their literature on the database they go on = about
how little maintenance it requires. They do everything but say that a = DBA
is not required.

SAP has switched from Oracle to DB2 for their primary database platform 3 months ago because Oracle ERP is hitting them too hard.=20
It has nothing to do with technical stuff , it's marketing driven .
