Have you verified that your external procedure listener is working? There is a sample external procedure demo program at $ORACLE_HOME/plsql/demo which can be used to do this.

Can you send your indexing syntax? My very limited experience with Intermedia has taught me that it is an extremely fussy beast.

Any idea what to do ? This error is reproducable.
