Hi

I was going through metalink when I received ur mail .So I downloaded ur problem solution from the oracle metalink site.

Problem Description:

You are attempting to create an Intermedia Text index and are receiving the following errors:

ORA-29855: error occurred in the execution of ODCIINDEXCREATE routine
ORA-20000: ConText error:
ORA-28579: network error during callback from external procedure agent
ORA-06512: at "CTXSYS.DRUE", line 122
ORA-06512: at "CTXSYS.TEXTINDEXMETHODS", line 34
ORA-06512: at line 1

You have verified that your listener is running and is set up for external procedures. But, the errors still occur when trying to create any Intermedia

index.

 Problem Explanation:

There is a problem with the shared object libctxx8.so that is shipped with Intermedia.

Solution: Obtain the correct libctxx8.so

Contact Oracle Support to get the correct shared object libctxx8.so.

The correct version of libctxx8.so will allow the Intermedia indexes to be created.
