Rachel,

Also got bit in 7.3.4 by this. Vijay notes that he's not mirroring. If he has a corrupt redo log, I think his only option will be to run a cancel-based recovery from backup.

Probably ought to back the puppy up first before running a recovery.

well, in 7.3.4, my database crashed and wouldn't reopen when I had a bad online log. And call Support -- although we couldn't get the database to reopen anyway... you could try to drop the logfile and do an open database resetlogs
